GENERAL:
a)Candidates satisfying the above criteria should appear for a “Walk in Interview “ at the office of
Executive Director, VISL Bhadravathi ,Karnataka at 10.00 AM on 21.8.2009. Candidates should
bring with them
1.The enclosed application duly filled in along with 2 photographs and also original documents for
verification in support of age,qualifications,experience,registration with State Medical Council
,caste (in case of SC/ST-Certificate issued by a revenue officer not below the rank of
Tehsildar))etc. Candidates should also submit a Crossed Demand Draft for Rs 250/- drawn in
favour of SAIL/VISL Bhadravathi Karnataka on any Nationalised Bank payable at Bhadravathi or
Bangalore. SC/ST candidates are, however, exempted from payment of the fee.
2. One set of self Attested copies of certificates in support of proof of age ,qualification,
experience,registration with State Medical Council,caste etc.
b)Candidates working in Govt./Semi Govt/Public Undertakings will be required to produce ‘No
Objection Certificate’(NOC) from present Employer before joining.

Applications are invited in prescribed Form from the bonafide citizens of India for selection of candidates for the under mentioned posts under the Government of Tripura:-
Item No – 01 = 02 (two) (ST-1 & UR-1) tmp.posts of Project Officer, Group-A Gazetted in the Directorate of Bio-Technology under the Department of Science, Technology and Environment, Government of Tripura in the scale of Pay of Rs.7800-275-10000-300-15,100/- (Pre-revised) plus admissible allowances. Educational Qualification :- Essential :- Master Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture/Forestry/Bio-Technology/Fisheries/Botany/ Zoology / Physiology/ Veterinary Science/ Bio-Chemistry. 2 years experience in the respective field.
Item No – 02 = 02 (two) (SC-01 & ST-01) pmt. posts of Senior Scientific Officer (01 Post for Chemical Discipline & 01 post for Biological Discipline), State Forensic Science Laboratory, Group-B Gazetted under the Home Department, , Government of Tripura in the Pay Band-4, Pay Band scale Rs. 13575-37000/- with Grade pay Rs. 3700/- plus admissible allowances. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION :- (i) FOR CHEMICAL DISCIPLINE – M.Sc with 50% in Forensic Science (with Chemistry as one of subjects) or in Chemistry/Bio-Chemistry from a recognized University. (II) FOR BIOLOGICAL DISCIPLINE – M.Sc with 50% in Forensic Science/ Botany/Zoology/Microbiology/Bio-Technology/Physical Anthropology or Genetics (with Botany/Zoology as one of the subjects) or M.D.Degree in Medicine or equivalent from a recognized University. Experience :- Having 3 (three) years experience in research, training and analytical work in the relevant field.
Item No.-03 = 09 (nine) tmp. Posts (SC- 01, ST- 07 & UR- 09) of Fishery Officer/Demonstrator/ Library-cum-Museum Assistant, Group-B Non-Gazetted (Technical) under the Department of Fisheries, Government of Tripura in the pay band-3, Pay Band scale Rs.9570-30,000/= with grade pay Rs. 3100/- plus admissible allowances. Educational Qualification: - B.F.Sc from a recognized University OR B.Sc with Zoology, trained in Inland Fisheries course.
AGE FOR ITEM NOS. – 1, 2 & 3 = 18 to 37 years as on 31.08.2009. Relaxable by 5(five) years in case of ST/SC/PH candidates & Government Servants. Provided that the SC/ST/ Government Servants will not get a further relaxation of 5 (five) years over and above the relaxation of 5 (five) years which they are already entitled to get as SC/ST candidates.
(i). The number of posts to be filled up is subject to increase or decrease following requirement of the Department.
(ii) The last date of receiving application is 31.08.2009 The application received after the closing date will not be entertained.
(iii). Prescribed Form availability: The 4(four) pages printed application Form will be available from any of the total 105 Nos. of Branches/Extension counters of Tripura Gramin Bank located at different places of Urban and Rural areas in the State of Tripura on deposit of the prescribed Recruitment Fee through the Special Deposit Slip to the Account No. 14711 in favour of the Secretary, T.P.S.C. in the same Branch / Extension counter as a single window system without any extra charge/Commission from the candidates.
For the candidates outside of the State, the said prescribed Form can also be down loaded from the Website http://www.tpsc.gov.in or http://www.tripurainfo.com and in that case, the Prescribed Recruitment Fee is to be paid in the form of demand draft of any Nationalized Bank payable at Agartala in favour of the Secretary, T.P.S.C. The said demand draft is to be enclosed with the filled up application form with record in the specified Box on the 1st page of the Form.
(iv). Rate of Recruitment Fees:-. Group – A Posts: - Rs.200/= (Rupees Two Hundred) only for General Candidates and Rs.150/= (Rupees One Hundred and fifty) only for ST/SC/ BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped Candidates.
Group – B Posts: - Rs.150/= (Rupees One Hundred and Fifty) only for General Candidates and Rs.75/= (Rupees Seventy Five) only for ST/SC/BPL Cardholders/ Physically Handicapped candidates.
(v). ST/SC Candidates of other States (not recognized by the Govt. of Tripura) should apply for unreserved vacancy as general candidate along with recruitment fee prescribed for general candidates.
(vi) The applicants must be in possession of the prescribed minimum qualification(s) for the respective post(s) on the closing date for submission of application as mentioned in the advertisement.
(vii). Other Important information:
The application in the prescribed form duly filled in by the candidate and 2(two) copies of recent stamp size photographs of the candidate affixed on the Application and Admit Card along with the copies of self attested certificates as noted in the application form is to be submitted.
Any application incomplete in any form or defective or containing statements which are incorrect or false or if there is any suppression of facts, are liable to be summarily rejected. No correspondence or queries from applicants will be entertained. Canvassing in any form will disqualify a candidate.
(viii). The candidates are also required to attach to the application; a self-addressed Post-card indicating the Advertisement No., Item No. and name of the post applied for. Application will be acknowledged by the Commission by returning this card to the candidates after indicating the Registration No. allotted to the candidates. No separate acknowledgement other than this card will be sent to them.
(ix). The decision of the Commission as to the eligibility or otherwise of a candidate at any stage of the selection process shall be the final.
(x). Date, time and venue of Screening Test / Interview of the eligible qualified candidates will be notified in due course
