Present Approximate Gross Salary at the Minimum of the Pay Scale is Rs. 88,770 Per Month
Age: Maximum 55 years as on 1-1-2010. The Upper Age Limit prescribed shall be relaxed by 5 years in the case of persons belonging to SC, ST, Women candidates, Physically Handicapped and 3 years for OBC candidates, as per Rules. However, the Upper Age Limit prescribed is not applicable to persons in the Service of the Institute.
Essential Qualification Required
1. PG Qualification in Ayurveda in the concerned Subject recognized by CCIM/Ayurved Vachaspati, M.D.(Ay.) of University of Rajasthan in the concerned Subject.
2. 7 Years as Reader (Associate Professor) in PG Teaching in the concerned Subject or 12 Years combined experience in PG Teaching in the Subject concerned (As Reader/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor) and Research.
Desirable:
1. Ph.D. in Ayurveda/Extensive Experience in Research.
2. Working knowledge in Hindi and English.

subject.

General Information
The Cast Certificate should be in the Form prescribed by the Government.
For the Posts of Professor and Associate Professor, the Details of PG Teaching Experience should also be indicated separately in Col. No. 9 and Certificates from the Principal concerned for the same should be enclosed. The Certificate should mention that the said College/Institute runs PG Course in the Subject concerned on which the Candidate claims PG Teaching Experience in the absence of which, the Application will be rejected.
Candidates already in service must send their application Through Proper Channel and such Applications should also reach by the Last Date. However, the candidates may submit an Advance Copy along with the Application Fee which should also reach by the Last Date. The Director reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies and to reject any or all applications without assigning any reason thereof, whatsoever.
The New Pension Scheme of the Government of India is applicable in the Institute.
The Institute may conduct an Objective Type Written Test to shorlist candidates for Interview depending upon the number of candidates applying for the Posts. Such a Test shall be of 100 Multiple Choice Questions covering the subjects of BAMS and the Subject concerned of MD(Ayurveda) with 100 Marks and of 1½ hours duration.
An Application Fee of Rs. 1000 (Rs. 500 for SC and ST Candidates) by Demand Draft in favour of Director, National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur should be attached with the Application Form.
Last Date
The filled in Application affixed with a recent Passport Size Photograph pasted on the upper right corner and duly attested by a Gazetted Officer along with attested copies of all Certificates etc. should reach the Director by 28-12-2009 till 5 PM. Application incomplete in any respect or received after this Date will be rejected summarily. Applications will not be accepted by E-Mail or Fax. No enquiry will be entertained over Phone, E-Mail or Fax. Canvassing in any manner will disqualify the candidate.
