Terms & Conditions for the post of Casualty Medical Officer:-
1. Appointment to the post of Casualty Medical Officer is on Contract for a period of 11 months
initially, likely to be extended further depending upon the need of the post and work & conduct
of candidate.
2. Appointee shall be entitled for 02 & ½ days leave every completed month of duty, which can be
accumulated but not encashed).
3. For retired doctors pension will be deducted from emoluments specified.
4. Upper age limit is 65 years as on date of interview.
5. This contract can be terminated by either side with one month notice or in lieu of it by paying one
months remuneration by the Director, CNBC or by surrendering one month’s salary by the
Contractual Medical Officer.
6. No other allowance/claim by whatsoever name is permissible.
7. The appointee shall be put on shift duty in the casualty & Emergency deptt. on 24X7 basis.
8. The appointment is purely on contract basis and will not bestow upon him/her any claim for regular
appointment.
9. Appointee will work under the administrative control of Director CNBC.
10. Appointment shall be subject to medical fitness.
11. Appointee shall follow duties of the post given separately with Appointment Letter.
12. Private Practice of any kind whatsoever is prohibited.
13. This appointment is further subject to caste certificate being verified through proper channels. If
the verification reveals that claim of candidate who belongs to OBC as case may be, is false his/her
services will be terminated without assigning any reason(s).
14. The candidates should not have been convicted by any court of law.
15. The candidates who are already in Govt. Service shall apply through proper channel
16. If any declaration/information furnished is found false or if any material/fact suppressed will fully the
contractual appointment will be terminated forthwith.
17. The decision of the selection board regarding selection of the candidate will be final and no
representation will be entertained in this regard.
18. In case of any dispute the legal jurisdiction will be Delhi only.

1. The tenure of Senior Residency is for a period of 3 years including any service rendered as Sr.
Resident earlier on regular basis in any institution. The appointment will be initially for a period of
one year, which could be extendable for period of 3 years on an annual basis, subject to
satisfactory work and conduct report from Head of Office.
2. The services will be governed by residency scheme.
3. Upper age limit is 33 years as on the date of interview.
4. All other conditions from serial no. 12 to 20 given above will remain the same.

1. The tenure of Junior Residency is for one year and the appointment will be initially for a period of
six months which could be extended for further six months subject to satisfactory work and
conduct report from Head of Office.
