Essential Qualification
For Medical
(i) A recognized medical qualification included in the first or the second schedule (other than licentiate qualification to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in part II of the third schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in section 13(3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.

Desirable

i. One year experience in techniques of Medical Genetics.
ii. One year’s house job in Paediatrics/Obstet. & Gynae./ Medicine
For Non Medical

Essential Qualification

i. Masters degree in Biological Science (Physiology/ Biochemistry/ Zoology/Veterniary Science).
ii. Three years research experience in reproductive biology or related field.
Desirable

i. Knowledge and experience in steroid bio-chemistry/human reproductive biology.
2. Assistant : One (OBC)

Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200
Age Limit : Not exceeding 25 years
Essential Qualifications

i. Degress of a recognized University or equivalent.
ii. 3 years’ experience in Administration in a Government Department or Institution/Organisation of repute.

3. Steno Gr. II: One (OBC)
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200
Age Limit : Not exceeding 25 years

Essential Qualifications

i. Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board.
ii. English shorthand at a speed of 120 words per minute.
iii. English typewriting at a speed of 40 words per minute.

Desirable

i. Experience as a Stenographer in a Government Department or Institution/ Organisation of repute.

ii. Degree of a recognized University or equivalent.


4. Jr. Hindi Translator : One (UR)
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200
Age Limit : Not exceeding 30 years

Essential Qualifications

i. Degree of a recognized University with Hindi and English as elective subjects.
ii. Two years experience in translation from English to Hindi and vice-versa.
General:

1. Age as on 1.7.2009.
2. Age Limit relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/Physically handicapped /Candidates in Govt. service as per Central Govt. Rules.
3. The candidates appointed will be governed by new Contributory Pension Scheme effective from 01-01-2004.
4. Canvassing in any form by or on behalf of the candidates will disqualify the candidates.
5. Mere fulfilling of essential qualifications would not entail a candidate to be called for interview.
6. No correspondence will be entertained from the applicant either before or after the selection. The decision of the Institute would be final.
7. NIHFW reserves the right to either fill up all the posts or some or none of them without giving any reason.
8. Incomplete application will not be considered.
9. Separate application should be used for each post.
