FACULTY RECRUITMENT
Applications in the prescribed format along with registration fee of Rs.750/-
(Rs.375/- for SC & ST candidates) are invited from the eligible candidates having
requisite VCI Registration for the vacant posts of (i) Professor (23 posts), (ii) Associate
Professor (45 posts) and (iii) Assistant Professor (80 posts) (RPS 1996 – UGC Scales)
in the Faculty of Veterinary Science of Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University.
Note:
1. For details of vacancies in the respective departments, rule of reservation,
prescribed qualifications and for application blanks please log on to:

2. Applicants for the vacancies in the Department of Teaching Veterinary Clinical
Complex in response to the advertisement: 1/RC/2007 need not apply again.
3. The NET qualification for the posts of Assistant Professor is relaxed for all
candidates as per Govt. orders on the condition that they have to qualify in the
NET within three years from the date of joining.
4. The candidates selected for the posts of A.H. Polytechnics will be posted in the
A.H. Polytechnics only and they should work at Animal Husbandry Polytechnics
for a minimum period of five years.
The University reserves the right not to fill all or any of the vacancies notified.
The filled in application form together with Registration Fee by way of crossed Demand
Draft only drawn in favour of The Comptroller, SVVU, Tirupati on any Nationalized
Bank payable at Tirupati (Cheques and cash are not accepted) should be submitted in
person or sent by Registered Post so as to reach THE REGISTRAR, Sri Venkateswara
Veterinary University, Administrative Office, 2nd Floor, Regional Library Building,
TIRUPATI - 517 502 on or before 04-03-2009 by 4.30 p.m.
