Sr.Medical Officer (E-2) (Physician)
Pay Scale Rs.13700 - 18250 (E-2)
Qualification MD(Gen.Medicine)/DNB(Gen Medicine) or equivalentfrom a
recognized Institute /University recognized byIndian Medical
Council.Candidates must be registeredwith the respective
StateMedical Council.Working knowledge ofKannada desirable
Experience Minimum 2years post qualification experience
Age Limit(as on 01.03.2009) 35 years (Age relaxationequivalent to post qualification experiencein excess of two yearswill be given)
Sr.Medical Officer (E-2)( Obstetrics &Gynaecology) only lady candidates to apply Pay Scale Rs.13700 -18250 (E-2)
Qualification:MD(OBG)/DNB(OBG)/DGO or equivalent from a recognized Institute /University recognized by
Indian Medical Council. Candidates must be registered with the respective State Medical Council.Working knowledge of Kannada desirable
Experience Minimum 2years post qualification experience
Age Limit(as on 01.03.2009) 35 years (Age relaxationequivalent to post qualification experiencein excess of two yearswill be given)
GENERAL:
a)Candidates satisfying the above criteria should appear for a “Walk in Interview “ at the office of
Executive Director, VISL Bhadravathi ,Karnataka at 10.00 AM on 21.8.2009. Candidates should
bring with them
1.The enclosed application duly filled in along with 2 photographs and also original documents for
verification in support of age,qualifications,experience,registration with State Medical Council
,caste (in case of SC/ST-Certificate issued by a revenue officer not below the rank of
Tehsildar))etc. Candidates should also submit a Crossed Demand Draft for Rs 250/- drawn in
favour of SAIL/VISL Bhadravathi Karnataka on any Nationalised Bank payable at Bhadravathi or
Bangalore. SC/ST candidates are, however, exempted from payment of the fee.
2. One set of self Attested copies of certificates in support of proof of age ,qualification,
experience,registration with State Medical Council,caste etc.
b)Candidates working in Govt./Semi Govt/Public Undertakings will be required to produce ‘No
Objection Certificate’(NOC) from present Employer before joining.
c)Candidates are requested to confirm their participation for walk in interview through an email to

HEALTH:
Meeting the following minimum requirements of height, weight and eye sight (both eyes):
a) Height - 150 cms } with suitable relaxation
b) weight - 45 kg } for female candidates
c) Myopia and Hypermetropia, if any, not to exceed + 6.00 in each eye.
