Recruitment of Teaching Faculty for the proposed ESI PGIMSR
ESI Model Hospital, K.K. Nagar, Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) proposes to start Post Graduate Medical
Courses in its hospital and action has been initiated to obtain the approval of Central
Government and Medical Council of India (as per the prescribed procedure) to start the Post
Graduate Medical courses w.e.f. the academic session 2010-11. Applications in the prescribed
format are invited from eligible candidates for walk-in-interview for Teaching Faculty in
proposed ESI Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences & Research (ESI PGIMSR) in
Medical Superintendent’s Office, ESI Model Hospital, K.K. Nagar, Chennai, Tamil Nadu
for appointment on deputation/contract basis. The number of vacancies with Specialtieswise

Professor: The applicant must possess -Minimum qualification for Teachers in
Medical Institute regulations, 1998 &MCI PG Medical EducationRegulation, 2000(As amended from
Time to time-Please refer www.mciindia.org for detailed information.
Exp: Having 12 Years experience of teaching in concerned specialty from an MCI
Recognized teaching hospital after obtaining PG Degree out ofwhich 4 years as Associate
Professor/Reader on full time basis.
PAY SCALE:
Professor: PB-4 with GP=Rs 10,000/-+ NPA as admissible
(For Medical Graduates) + other allowances
Associate Professor:. PB-4 with GP=Rs. 8700/- + NPAas admissible
(For Medical Graduates)
