Junior Assistant
APPLICATIONS on prescribed form obtainable at College Office from 2.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. on working days are invited from eligible Physically handicapped (OH) candidates to fill up one post of Junior Assistant in pay band of Rs. 5200 - 20200 + applicable Grade Pay and other allowances as per rules of University of Delhi.
Essential Qualification:
1. A Senior Secondary School Certificate (+2) or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Board/University/Institution with at least 50% marks or a Graduate from a recognized University.
2. Having a typing speed of 40 w.p.m. in English through computers.
Desirable:
1. Degree/Diploma in Computer Application/Science and knowledge of operation of latest packages relating to Payroll, Accounts, MIS etc.
2. Diploma in Office Management and Secretarial Practice.
Age Limit: 27 years as on 1.3.2009. Relaxation in age limit for PH candidates as per the Govt. guidelines.
Applicants will be required to appear in a written test to adjudge their ability of expression and knowledge relating to their work and those who qualify in the written test will be required to appear in Typing Test along with a written Essay Test in English followed by interview. Detail of the tests has been given in the Application Form.
Note:
1. Candidates already in employment in Govt./Autonomous bodies/PSUs etc. should apply through proper channel.
2. Physically Handicapped (OH) candidates should mention specifically in the Application Form and attach a copy of certificate issued by the competent authority.
3. Duly filled Application Form alongwith self-attested copies of educational certificates, experience etc. and one latest passport size photograph pasted on the Application Form
must reach the College office within 30 days of this advertisement.
4. The College reserves the right to abolish/change the nature and number of the post.
