Assistant Marine Officers on
Contract basis as detailed below:

o Qualification:-
Should have passed the Matriculation Examination or
its equivalent
o 2. (I) Certificate of Competency as Master of a Home
Trade ship granted by Ministry of Shipping
OR
o (ii) Certificate of Competency as Second mate foreign
Going ship with three years experience.
OR
o (iii) Certificate of Competency as Mate of a Home
Trade ship granted by Ministry of
o Shipping with three years experience.
OR
o (IV) First Class Master certificate issued under
Harbour craft Rules with five years
o Experience as First Class Master.
o Age: 30 years.
o Remuneration:-
o Rs 30,000/- per month + accommodation at
Port employee's rate.
